Northbeach Outlook
Welcome to our home! This 1500 sq ft, three story house is very well thought out. Every room has a view! With three bedrooms and two baths, it is perfect for six guests. The kitchen makes preparing your own meals easy or you are just a little over a mile to Eastsound, where services abound. We have free high speed internet and a smart TV (bring your passwords). We are only 20 minute drive from the ferry so getting here is easy. Moran State Park is a 15 minute drive from the house.
Whatever you do, take time to enjoy the fantastic sunsets!

The Bedrooms
Perfect for a group of six or less. The first floor has two bedrooms, one with a queen and the other with two twins. Each of these rooms has a peek-a-boo view of the water through our lovely garden. Across the hallway is a full bath and laundry room. The entire third floor is the master suite. It features a king size bed with a 3/4 bath. This spacious room is 450 square feet and comes with the best view in the cottage! It overlooks the deck, the nicely manicured garden and the Salish Sea.
The Great Room
The second floor is our great room which includes a well appointed kitchen, laptop desk, bar stools at the counter, dining table with room for 6, living room, television, seasonal wood stove and access to the deck with a seasonal BBQ grill. Every seat in this space enjoys the gorgeous views of the trees and water.

The Deck
Access to the deck is located on the second floor. This space is great for your morning coffee, afternoon barbecues or evening sunsets. The barbecue grill is available for your enjoyment during the summer season. Watch the resident deer coming and going. The bald eagles (and many other birds) are also regular visitors. There are Islands in your purview, to the left is the southernmost Canadian Island, Saturna, with the lighthouse. To the right is Sucia Island. You can watch the fishing and recreational boats go by as well as the big freight ships further out in the shipping lanes. Occasionally, you can see the small airplanes coming in or taking off from the airport. They do not come very close to the house but are fun to watch.
The Great Outdoors
We have a fully fenced yard to keep out the deer but they sometimes sneak in. Our garden is well manicured and enjoyable to visit.

Visiting the nearby North Beach Public Access is easy. It is 5 minute walk. If you plan your visit at low tide, you can go further out and enjoy a bit more of a stroll.
​
Orcas Island offers so many outdoor activities in the summer and off seasons. Visit Moran State Park, explore the Land Bank properties, go out on the water with your kayak, rent kayaks or take a seaplane tour of the San Juan Islands.

Be aware that this is a three story house and, as such, it is not suitable for small children or people for whom stairs are a challenge. Children must be 6 years or older.
